Locality

Easingwold is a small market town in North Yorkshire, England. It is located 13 miles north of York, at the foot of the Howardian Hills. The name of Easingwold is Anglo Saxon in origin. King John had a hunting lodge there and the Royal Forest of Galtres (no longer a forest) surrounded the area.
