Aims, vision and ethos
Easingwold Community Primary School offers an inclusive, inspiring and nurturing environment where the education is Exciting, Challenging, Positive and Safe.
We strive to ensure that our school offers:
Challenge for all
A Positive atmosphere in which to learn
A Safe place to be
We are Easingwold Community Primary School!
Our aims form the backbone to our school ethos.
Our staff work hard to bring learning to life and strive to make lessons as practical and as engaging as possible. Learning is hands on, messy and interactive.
We believe that every child should find their lessons challenging and be stretched as far as possible. We work hard to provide stimulating activities that encourage independent thinking. Children are given academic challenge whilst also supporting and encouraging children who have talents in the arts, music and PE through our many extra-curricular clubs and activities..
We are often complimented on the family feel of our school. Staff know the children very well and relationships within school between staff, children and parents are one of our greatest strengths.
Our rigorous safeguarding systems and processes ensure your child is safe at school. Projects such as Forest Schools and residential visits encourage children to manage risk and be responsible for their own safety. Our ICT lessons explore the principles of e-safety and prepare children for an ever changing world. We are committed to ensuring the welfare and safety of all children in school and work within the framework provided by the North Yorkshire Safeguarding Children Board procedures.
